transparency in superkaramba

http://www.kde-look.org/content/prev...ile=6961-1.png

ok theres my example, now for those of you that use superkaramba, i would like to know how you make the background transparent without haveing a blackbox as your background or even the background that comes with the theme...i just wanna get rid of whats there and make it transparent, but as you remove the background from the script you get the blackbox....
and if you rmartime are reading this, i would like to know this especially for the LQ theme...thx

oh and also if anyone knows they can answer this also...is there something going on with the LQ script...cause as of a week ago the lq theme doesn't seem to be updating like it used to...when i had it originally it was updating in real time, and if made a post the second i pressed submit it saw the thread move to the top of the list, but now, it only refreshes like every 4-5 mins....i have the intervel presently set to 1500 (1.5secs) which i just keep changin numbers to see if it will go back to the way it used to, but no deals yet..i usually have it on 1000(1sec) ...

even when i go to the tmp folder in the LQ folder i see the files updateing in real time, but they don't retrieve the new info and i know there is posts being made, but like i said it doesn't update till like 4-5 mins later....
is this an issue with me, or is it the LQ website + script ?

Well... I'll try and help.

Superkaramba uses a "fake transparency" from Kde. I think it's currently the only way to get transparency.

What it's doing is in the .theme file, the dimensions and the location of the theme are set, and your background is used as a filler for what you don't write to. I get a black box every now and then when I make a mistake in my .theme files.

Could you post your .theme file here so I could dig through it. You might have a typo in there and karamba is freaking out about something. I have the LQ ones.

Regarding LQ not updating quickly anymore, I just tested mine again and you're right, it's not as fast as it used to be. I have no idea what is causing since it used to work a while ago.

ok instead of me posting a theme, i'll just mention that one of the themes i obviously used cause it was mentioned is the lq theme. so if you'd like we can start with that one, as i only have one other theme that i would like to have it transparent which is the kweather theme...
if you still need me to post my lq theme, then i will but i left it as default cause there was nothing i had to change in it other than the interval.
