Transfer Speed

I have a redhat 7.2 with the new Kernel installed. I have SSH and most updates.

Here is the catch, when I am sending out it the networkcards work great. But if I am accepting data they go very slow or time out.

Example: If I FTP into the box I can download great but I cannot transfer data into the box without a time out. It does the same thing with email, if I try to send a large attachment it times out or goes really slow, if I just send a text message it flies. Now if I try to download a large attachment it zooms about 100 times faster then the send. I am doing this on a LAN so cable should not be an issue.

I have switched NIC's and nothing changed (Diff Brands even)and now I am not sure what to try next???

Thanks,

Road
