Tomcat jakarta server is shutting down after particular time period(critical)


Dear all,
I started tomcat jakarta remotely from my machine through telnet. The server is there somewhere else.

after particular time period tomacat server is shutting down automatically.

any idea..

I thing this is very critical questine.

Hope, I will get answer.

Well if it's such a critical question, then I'm sure you can spend a little more time finding out what is happening. If you've got telnet access I'm sure you should be able to access the log files and find maybe some error messages there.
Often servers also have the option to run them in debug mode so you can find out more about where it goes wrong. But if you expect an answer you should really elaborate your question with a little bit more information on what you are trying to do and where it's going wrong.
