The long road of linux

I was walking down 42nd street in Manhattan NYC between 8th and 7th avenues when I came across this giant billboard asking the question:

Having been in and out of Linux for the last 15 years or so, I never thought I would see Linux become so prominent in the public eye and general public consciousness, especially on such a main thoroughfare of the world. Who would've thought?

I saw the same exact billboard on the NJ/PA Turnpike coming into PA. I honestly thought the same exact thing.....

Destiny? No such thing.... The world is forcing linux upon its users, and that's how it should be. (Tron reference, anyone? )

Those ads are all over the US ... even in Silicon Valley ... and I have no idea what they are looking for. (Nor am I particularly inclined to find out... sounds like a cattle-call for a sweat shop to me.)
