the "Knoppix In Use" wallpaper

An old version of Knoppix--I think it was 4.something--had a wallpaper consisting of a "KNOPPIX IN USE" sign with the word "Knoppix" in various locations on the screen. Does anyone know if that was a real sign in some room (the creator's office?)? Because what appears to be the ceiling of a commercial building is visible in the picture.
