the file eclipse-changelog-2.1.0_fc-2.ppc/rpm cannot be opened.


im trying to install ydl 5.0 to my ps3 and everything goes smothly until i get this error. i tried to reboot but i went back to this same error then it just reboots. anyone have any idea what it is? thanks for your help

yup - you have an rpm file that cannod be opened. Perhaps the install media is not all it could be?

If the installer gives you the option to manually select packages for installation, you could try just not installing eclipse right now.

Or you could try some of the other options - like actually installing fedora

i dont get any options to manually select packages i want to install.

That's tough.

Think it through... you have a corrupted rpm on the install media. You cannot choose not to install from the rpm on that media, so what do you need to do instead?
