terminal hang after running a script and then exit

Dear,

I use CentOS 4.2 and OpenSSH 3.0p1

I have a bash script in my office, written by the other person.
It can handle the required job. But each time I run it and then type "exit" to logout, my terminal hang.

I want to debug it to find the problem. Anyone knows how to debug it?
Please help.
Thank you!
