System tools


I use the graphical command ' sam' on the HP server before, is there any similar tools that on linux for add user or system conifg? Thx.

That depends on what distro & WM you're on.

In KDE, go KDE(Start)> System tools> Users...

What exactly are you looking for? A Gui to be used inside of X or a graphical/ascii manager to be used from a terminal window? Most newer distributions have a graphical user manager for X. Both Gnome and KDE have an application for user and group managment. The Webmin application includes an excellent user and group management module.
