syslogd capability in cygwin?
I have a RH port called cygwin that runs on W2K. I am using it as an sftp server and I don't know where it logs messages? Almost nothing is put in the W2K event viewer. The sshd_conf gives the loglevel but not the location and there is nothing in /var/log or /var/tmp. cygwin is a scaled down linux and so maybe I need to add a syslogd package but I can find no info (on my distribution or the web) about a syslogd package for cygwin. Am I on the right track or is there another way for sshd to log?
