swapping on a logical volume

Good day! I'll be rebuilding my system from scratch soon using LVM2 should I set up a separate partition for swap or I can make things easier and just go about swapping on a logical volume? Am I in for some poor performance/reliability/etc in doing so? Thanks in advance for your replies!

I don't know what you mean, but if you meant to say to make a swap partition, then yeah, do that. It's faster than just making a swap file.
