Would some one please help me with this. I've setup the sshd deamon on my linux SUSE 9.0 box, it works when i connect from any linux or unix box, but somehow i'm not able to connect through win xp stations and the message that i get is (Access denied). I don't know what is the problem. I've checked my sshd.conf file to see if this was authentication problem, but my file is the default file, no changes are made to the file. Please can you help me solving this issue, it's getting on my nerves. Meanwhile my box is configured as SAMBA server and it'd working like a charm.

I had the same problem using Putty to connect to y SuSE 9.0.
I could not connect to my server using SSH.
When I configure Putty to use SSH protocol version 2 as my preffered protocol, Putty works just fine.
