SuSE 8.1 Install

I've been trying to install SuSE via the FTP server, but I've been having problems.

It seems it's necessary to include the ide=nodma argument during the install. How do you do that?

I've tried this:

linux install =ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/current ide=nodma

Should I put the ide=nodma part in front of the argument string?

Thanks.
