supermount aint mounting the top mountain

compiled patched supermount to my linux-2.4.22 kernel
using this command

linux-2.4.22]# patch -p1 <supermountXXXXX

and then compiled it once with saying Y to supermount under filesystem but after boot using new kernel mount using this command dont work at all
# mount -t supermount -o fs=auto,--,dev-/dev/cdrom none /mnt/cdromauto

saying there wrong files system then go and check
/etc/filesystem there no supermount entry in it.
whats going wrong?
tries also with saying loadable modules in supermount options and recompile again still with the same result. so i modprobe supermount and it ok without error and warning and also without any reply message just like

# modprobe supermount
#

whats wrong?

why theres no supermount?
i'm have tried this recompiling with supermount but still dont have result at all..

if supermount is enabled and is working, you do not mount a file system with a command. It's done automatically. That's the whole point of supermount. For this to work, the entries in /etc/fstab have to correct. You have to edit it manually! And after doing it and reboot (I think you'll have to reboot; maybe it's ok to unload the supermount module and load it again) CDs should get mounted automatically.
