sudo


Hi all,

I have problem with sudo.

I have two user anna and skumar.

i logged as skumar and then try "sudo -u anna shell". Its working with one error.

Error is :

Unable to chdir to /home/skumar, using /tmp instead.
-bash: /home/skumar/.bash_profile: Permission denied


Please can any one help me...

What are actually you are trying to accomplish with SUDO here?

This is my office format to change one user to another user. Because we need a log for which user login to which user.

That's why we followed this method. These way worked for all servers, except one server and that one user only having problem (skumar user).

ITs working, the issues was don't have a permission for user home directory
Previously the home directory had 700(/home/skumar) permission. Then i changed 755 with "-R" option to /home/skumar directory. Then i able to login with out error.
