Snow Leopard Hackintosh fails to run M-Audio software

Hi

Hope this is the right place, apologies if its not.

Have made substantial progress with my Acer M3800 running Snow Leopard (OSX) but have now hit a brick wall (Too ambitious by half!)

Am attempting to use as the basis of a virtual recording studio with Logic Pro 9 (Like Garageband but bigger), so far with terrific results, - and only a few glitches sorted with Multibeast.

Now for the big one, - I'm trying to use a professional Audio interface for my assorted instruments and mics in the shape of an M-Audio Firewire Audiophile and supporting driver/dashboard software.

The problem occurs when the box is switched on (powered from the Hack), and I try to start the software.

At this point the operating system reports an unexpected quit and offers full details. Have appended these to assist the diagnostics but they don't mean a great deal to me.

Anybody spot immediate problems, - hopefully with a straightforward fix?

Thanks in advance

Martin

Sure looks like a MacOS issue. Since I have no idea about them the only thing I could do is guess.

"com.m-audio.device-settings.firewire.plist" may have something to do with it.

I'd suggest you go to a Hackintosh site such as osx86.net
