Selecting GRUB options over rdp

hi guys, i know it's not possible to select the boot options using rdp but what i would like to know is the following.

I connect to my home pc alot from work. I have both vista and ubuntu installed.

I have defaulted grub to go into vista, but sometimes i would like to change this (from a remote location) to go into ubuntu on next boot.

How can i do this?

IS there a way i can edit the grub configuration from within windows to goto ubuntu on next boot?

Cheers in advance guys

If your menu.lst file is on a partition that is writable from windows, then yes.

There is a driver to read/write ext2/3 partitions in Windows, I don't know any other filesystems off the top of my head(apart from MS's) that can be written to in Windows.

edit: dunno if that driver is any good under Vista... that's what you get for upgrading I guess :P
