David the H., thank you for your post. DeVeDe is currently creating a video DVD. I will post to the link in your signature and let you know if DeVeDe works or not.
Thank you for your response.

ps. i read the link. i have an avi file (movie) that i downloaded off the web and would like to make an iso image for burning to a DVD. i've help doing it using terminal script in the past. but i can't find that person lately. I don't have knowledge to understand if there is more information i could pass on.
pps. i have tried learning script but the milk in my coconut (brain) is not made to understand this stuff. i wasted several thousand dollars in college just trying to understand the basic concept of a circuit in physics. the tutor gave up on me (i got "C"). i simply don't understand computer language or even simple concepts. just one, stay as far from M$ as possible.

I've never actually used devede, so I can't tell you anything about it. Make sure you read the documentation thoroughly. And I found this simple tutorial on the net that may help you. All this is assuming your system is set up correctly of course.
You say you got "title 1", but what does that mean? Is it a dvd menu with only one entry? Does the disc actually play? It sounds to me like you simply failed to change the default title name to me. Can you "click" on the "title 1" with your dvd player controller?
