Screensavers Missing after upgrading to Fedora Core 4
I am new to this forum and I have a quick question I hope I can find an answer to.
I have recently upgraded from Fedora Core 3 to Fedora Core 4. The only problem I have run into is that when I go to Desktop/Preferences/Screensavers, the only two listed are now Lisa and XSnow. There used to be a boat load listed. Any ideas where they went? I assume this may just be a permissions problem, but I am not sure where to look.
I had tried this before with no luck. When I run each of the three packages listed, yum reports back with "Nothing to do". I have also downloaded "Xscreensaver" from website and reinstalled it to no avail. Any other suggestions?
And I noticed the permissions of the directory /usr/libexec/xscreensaver (there the executables are located) were set to 700, I changed them to 777 and now I have screensavers again.
