Screens disappear?


OS version : Oracle Linux 8.6

My screen session will disappear some time after. I open screen with root user**

* Sometimes an hour later it's there, sometimes it's not. Sometimes an hour later it's there, sometimes it's not. Applying rsync operation on screen,

* Sometimes it stops until the process is finished

* My other servers don't have this problem only on one of them

Check for EE lines in /var/log/Xorg* logs

I wonder what rationale could be behind advising to analyse X logs for a console program?

OP: turning screen logging on (-L) could be a good start (why I am advising this to a person with such nick?)

and actually would be nice to give us some details, like how did you log in, how did you start screen and other important steps (and configuration).

+1. We usually use the info you provide (none, really in this case) to solve yopur problem. Like why are you rsyncing screens?
