screen saver timeout

My screen saver turns on, but then goes auto-blank-screen after ~5mins. Is there any setting that I need to change to make the screen saver stay on until I return? I am using KDE desktop for FC2. Thanks.

I think that the power management setting has been turned on for the monitor.

You must edit the /etc/X11/XF86Config file or the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file to remove the Option "DPMS" from the Monitor section.

As an alternative you might wish to increase the settings for monitor suspend etc. in the ServerFlags section.
