RPM build errors

Hello,
I am trying to build an RPM from a tarball.
I did the following :

# rpmbuild -tb rdesktop.tar.gz

But the following error is coming:

/var/tmp/rpm-tmp.42241: line 34: cd: rdesktop: No such file or directory
error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.42241 (%prep)

RPM build errors:
Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.42241 (%prep)

Please help me to solve this problem.

Thanks ..

It's telling you that the directory rdesktop is not there. So you need to find out why. Do you need to create it somewhere in the script first?
