I seem to have run into a problem that I see has been asked before, however, I cant seem to find a post that can help me fix my problem...
Here's my info: I'm running RH 7.0 inside VMWare which resides on a W2k master.
Some how my LILO was corrupted and now when I boot I get "LIL-" as an error. I have done my research but still cant figure out how to fix this problem.
As you can tell I'm a Newbie, and YES, I seem to have lost my boot disk.
well, the boot disk really comes in handy at these type of problems.. what about your cd, have you tried booting to that and going under rescue mode... if that gets you in, try and see if you can't get your lilo.conf file posted here.. it for some reason with the "LIL", its not reading your image location details properly... and just needs to be edited.
