Hello,
Little bit baffled on the resources of a particular server. Heres a bit of info on this machine. Daily the load seems to spike well above 100 but drops pretty fast and other times it can get around 6-10 but it can stay that way for a while, enough to agravate the system in such a way that causes slowness for other users on the machine.
I have seen /usr/bin/perl /usr/bin/mrtg /etc/mrtg/mrtg.cfg (all one command) taken up 30% of the processor and it hangs for a while but does go away after a while, is mrtg maybe corrupted ? Theres 101 accounts on the server.

Seems to always be stuck running. What would be the best approach to maybe helping with resources? Not so sure adding another 512 megs of ram is going to help much with resources... This particular server actually has been really quiet no problems just here lately its been rebooted every other day because of a high load, I have a few of these 1200Mhz system's some are p3' 900Mhz just this one is having problems. Maybe the drive is going bad who knows
