Reminder: Check to see if you have won in our weekly contest!
It has come to my attention that many winners have not claimed their prize in the LinuxQuestions.org weekly contest. The contest is sponsored by Affero and the prize is shipped to you 100% free of charge. To see if you have won and for details on how to claim your prize goto:
Here's a quick question - Do you use the affero username or the lq username?
I ask because my usual nick is "rossy" but someone was using it here hence "david_ross". My affero id is "rossy". One of the winners was "rossy". Is that me or not?

Cheers jeremy - keep up the good work.
PS. It was good to see the pictures of the server that the site runs on - I think it would be funny if all sites did that - I bet there would be some funny ones (microsoft.com on a 486 )
Congrats to all the winners...Don't forget - if you see that you have won - send your prize selection, both your LQ and affero username and your mailing address to winner@linuxquestions.org
the current available prizes are:
-Mandrake 9.0
-copy of the book: Free Software, Free Society: Selected Essay of Richard M Stallan, signed by RMS
-RH 8.0 Professional edition (only a couple left)
-RH 8.0 Personal edition
Thanks!

You have to go to affero, sign up and create a new username. Your lq username might be available in our system so give it a try. When you do have your new affero username you need to go in your usr cp under "edit profile" and submit it. If you have any problems just shoot me a email.
we are now out of RH 8.0 Professional edition -- rshaw and nakkaya got the last two - congrats!!
we are working on getting other items for contest prizes and will let everyone know if and when there are additional options -- if anyone has any suggestions - please send them along to info@affero.com. Thanks!
