[Thu Jan 13 12:50:42 2005] [notice] caught SIGTERM, shutting down
[Thu Jan 13 12:50:43 2005] [notice] suEXEC mechanism enabled (wrapper: /usr/sbin/suexec)

This is no error, it went well instead.

The warning is that one child was unable to stop, so it was forcefully killed (better than a pop-up telling 'this program is not responding [wait] [terminate]', right?).
After that they are notice messages, telling that apache restarted fine..

You want to create accounts for more domains on the same machine? only then you will need virtual hosting (so john@foo.com is different than john@bar.com), but apache has nothing to do with e-mail...

If you are using postfix for e-mailing you can set it up to do virtual domains.. you'd have to dig into documentation for that.
disclaimer: not only postfix can do this, probably all MTAs can do this! just that I work with postfix, I can tell it is possible . . . Have done it before.

Good luck.

Actually there is a webmin module that can setup virtual domains for email, dns, apache and ftp. email server can be qmail, sendmail or postfix.

Its called virtualmin and it can be downloaded from the webmin site.

I use it myself and its real nice.

Virtualmin is one of the best modules for webmin. It can do almost anything you need it to do. Even aliases for each domain.

I suggest you read the docs for it. Many power settings are available with it.

zameer_india if your going to be a network admin I suggest that you start using google and take some classes.

No need to pretend your admin and get paid for it when we are doing your work and not getting a dime a from it.

Fair is fair now.

The question your asking is about the most simplest admin function there is. If you can't do email accounts your in a whole lot of trouble.

what sgrayban says may sound a bit harsh, but he has a point.

you know, there is an AWFUL lot of basic documentation available on the internet, the only problem is that you want to know where to start and where to go... (That was mainly my problem when I started to figure this out..)..

A good habit is to seek the internet using a good search engine indeed, and read a lot (and: a lot).
Try to get a good view on what you really want and see if the tools you have can provide you the solution you want..

Until now, for instance, I can't see your problem / wish. you have studens, teachers and parents.. what to do with them ? what is the problem with creating just accounts for them?....
Before answering (which is fine !!!) try to get a good hold of what you really want, try to figure out if documentation for mail servers / clients / web servers can help you out, and if you still can't manage, you can start a question being descriptive in what you have achieved and what you want to achieve...

Be eager to read a lot... that is the key...

Sorry if it sounds unfriendly, but it is meant in the best way thinkable.!!

good luck.

Mine was also meant to be constructive and not harsh. But in reality my response was correct seeing that his question/problem really isn't all that hard.

My only question is why would parents need email accounts?

WOW!!!! Now if I understand (maybe) what your saying is if you make an email account how can they access it? Or how can you make the account use johndoe@daomin.com ?

Sorry but your english is so bad I can't follow your problem at all.

When you make a new account it can already recieve and send email.

Regardless of how you want 3 group's doesn't matter except on sending the right email to the right account.
