redirect events from syslog server
Hello,
I got 3 server linux redhead 9, I need from 1 server redirect logs to 3 sever through server 2
Acctually 1 server is juniper, second and third are redhead9
I try to avoid to use syslog-ng, and trying to handle with syslog daemon
So,
juniper send it log message through local1 to second.server which have on it /etc/syslog.conf
local1.* /var/log/juniper.log
local1.* @third.server.ip
The problem is that I dont have redirection to third server of juneper messages, all others messages are redirected perfect (if I do instead of "local.* rediraction" this kind of rediracton "*.* @third.server.ip" )
server 2 put logs file from 1 server(juniper) to /var/log/juniper.log file of itself only
like it configured and does not do redirect to server_3
Any hints ?
