RedHat AS 3, system time delay 3 sec everyday

hi,all.
My company uses RedHat AS 3.0, 64bits.

The system time of linux always delays 3 sec everyday.

because, this server cann't connect internet, I cann't use NTP to change.

how can i do.

thanks a lot.

Can you just adjust the time using system-config-date ("Start" -->system settings --> Date & Time)?

This server will be used in stock market company.

It must keep time exactitude everytime.

This system can't connect to the internet, but can it connect to the intranet? If so, you could still use ntp, and use the ntp server from another system on your network...
