insert a formatted floppy disk into your computer, and search for a file on your redhat cd called rawrite, it should be in a folder called dosutils.

that program will make your boot disk

True, as long as you tell rawrite which image to write to the floppy. The usual input if you intend to install from a cdrom is:

rawrite \images\cdrom.img a:

It works like a champ !!

Well, there are several images... Are you sure that's the one? If I were you I'd poke around the RedHat web site, download the manual and find that section there.

There are many disk images there, for both 1.44MB and 720KB floppies, and for different purposes (such as an install boot floppy and a normal boot floppy).

sewer_monkey tells no lies, but the manuals and other info are also on the CD. That documantation should be completely visible in Win98.
