Hello, I'm pretty new to linux and have a small dilemna to solve. I share an internet connection with a few people, but they use it very rarely (hour or two a day), and I like to have Azureus running the rest of the day. But I'm not always home to turn off the application for the other people so they can use the internet without major slowdowns.

I'm trying to figure out if there is a script that can exit Azureus from a webpage. If it can be done easily or someone knows a good way to do it, I'd extremely appreciate the help.

You could have port 22 open and ssh into the server from outside and stop the application. What you are proposing would be fairly dangerous since it involves root permissions and could be very vulnerable to attack.
