Question regarding multiple tags and title display

I have not found a place to ask about simple display formats, so I hope here will work.

Trying to search using tags: is it possible to search on multiple tags? My attempts so far have resulted in "Invalid Tag Specified". I have tried things like [mate, pluma], [mate pluma], [mate+pluma] (without[] of course!). Is there a place where such things are defined? I see that I can add tags separated by comma - but how to search?

Regarding display, I have noticed that some post titles are displayed in bold, and some in normal font (and not all sticky). Is there somewhere that explains that?

I gather you refer specifically to the LQ search. I can't speak to tags, as I generally ignore them but, as regard post tiles, I think bold indicates that you haven't clicked on that thread, whereas regular indicates that, at some point, you have and no new posts have been added to it.

Thanks, I gave that a try on 'Will this work in Wine' (not noticing you replied!), and the display did not change. But then I went back there, and it had been updated. So it requires a refresh to see it.

Yes, I have indeed seen those very useful links. I was really interested in using tags to search rather than in BBcode. For example in .Search, the Search by Tag frame contains 1 field headed Tag: So maybe this is taken to mean that you can only use one Tag?

But in normal replies, there is a Tags link pointing to the 100 most used tags. The Edit Tags link allows one to add a comma separated tag list.

Where would one see the rest of the known tags?

I've noticed that too. I think that, if you just hit "back," your browser reloads the cached page without updating it any way.
