pvmd shutdown


hi everyone,
i am working on pvm and i wanna know how to stop pvmd
on a machine permanently so that if the machine is
spawned it should not respond,i wanna do this from the console,so is there a command which does this.can u please suggest me how to do this.If this is not the relevant group can u tell me which is the proper group.
