Pthreads Structure in OS and more...

Hi all,

I have worked with the pthread library before... however I would like to learn a deeper understand of the threads in the OS. I would like to know their structure, interfacing to the OS, OS system calls to spawn a thread, the workings thread manager, etc...

Any place I should start looking into? Any recommended references?

I am starting to poke at http://www.makelinux.net/kernel_map.

Thank you in advance,
Vinny P
