Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault. in newtDrawForm


Hi

I am running one C program on rhel 5.

program gives following error:

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
0x00723e5e in newtDrawForm () from /usr/lib/libnewt.so.0.52

can anyone help me out in this.? why it's giving this error.?

Hey There,

If it doesn't show you straight up, can you post the output near the end of this execution:

strace -f /full/path/to/your/program

That should show you what system calls happen, files get opened/closed, etc right before the crash.
