Process root can't kill shpchd_event

I have never seen this show up in the process list before. I tried searching on Google and Google Linux both came up with zero.

Anyone know what shpchd_event is and how to kill it?

I tried using find, locate, whereis it doesn't show up in any search just in the process list.

Using Debian on my desktop with Icewm.

No idea. Using ps, find the process id, then look in /proc/PROCESSID/exe (it's a symbolic link to the executable).

Well according to the ubuntu wiki which was the only place I could find any info it had to do with hotplug not loading shpchp and pciehp whatever those are. Added them both to the hotplug blacklist and all is well.
