problems with mounting nfs in redhat 9

I can't seem to mount any of my nfs partitions that are on my server. I use the correct command: "mount -t nfs 192.168.10.2:/root/downloads /mnt/files" but it still won't work. It worked correctly the first time, but now gives me the following error: "mount: RPC: Program not registered". I am using kernel version 2.4.20-27.9. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Do you have all the correct client daemons running? Usually sometimes that error will be supplied when you don't have portmapper running, etc.

If you can give more details for your server and client, it might speed up the determining of what could be wrong. Also do you have any other machines connecting to your NFS server?

Some commands to post here:

For the server:
cat /etc/exports
lsmod

For the client:
lsmod
