Hi All,
I installed RHEL 5 in a machine. When I open any file using vi then trying to search it works fine. But when I tried to search and get one of my search history using the up arrow key it wrote <up> in the search section. it will be like that
Yes, the brand name and type of keyboard. I've installed plenty of RHEL 5 systems and not seen this issue. I'm curious if you selected a keyboard layout that doesn't match your keyboard, or if your keyboard's <UP> button is sending odd keycodes.
Actually I installed RHEL5 many times in many different servers brand names and didn't meet this problem before too. First time I faced this problem was in a compatible PC. It was a testing PC. But now I faced the same problem in a DELL server. Appreciate your help.
