Printer connection(3 ways?)

please clear me one thing about printers,,

one is locally adding printer,,
* printer which is locally connected and we can connect it through system-config-printer and it will do the job,,

*
Second is

network printer,,, (our printer which is connected to the network so tht specific users can print to tht single printer if they r in same network),, right?

normally we add this by using elinks?

* Third is

Connecting the local printer on the server(server.redhat.org),,

so,, in this case we use (unix printer),, while we select it from system-config-printer and it is called LPD printing,,

So question is:

Q.Am i getting confuse with the second and third option,,
Q.Is second and third option the same.
Q.Can i do my third one by using elinks too,??

here are few question,, if you can answer those ,,much appreciated

cheers
Sim
