Angry PLS HELP ... X server crashing too often

I just upgraded to RH 9 and I have a helluva time with the X server-ITS WORSE THAN WINDOWS '98. I have an Nvidia Geforce 2 32 MB so the first thing I did was to install the drivers from the nvidia site. However, seems like the new kernel has some issues with orw-fonts and when u start doing smth or browsing around whole thing just crashes and quits. So I uninstalled the drivers and ever since its been hell... when u start fresh it acts normal but after some time X server just gets slower and slower and if u dare to load it just a little bit it hard drive goes berserk and u cant do anything not even Ctrl+Alt+Backspace unless u wonna wait 10 min for a browser window to finally open...I have no idea what that is but it was working perfectly on RH 8.0.
Below I have posted the config file for X (im guessing X is the one be blamed for that since it crashes) and I will add any additonal info. PLS HELP

# If you have a US Microsoft Natural keyboard, you can use:

# Option "XkbLayout" "de"
# Option "XkbVariant" "nodeadkeys"

# If you'd like to switch the positions of your capslock and
