php site testing on my local LAN

Hello.

I'm going to start writing a php mysql part for my website soon. What I was wondering was before putting it on the net, whats the best way to test it on my LAN? I want to make sure it looks and works OK before I go ahead and put it on the net.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
DBG.

The best way would be to setup a local installation of php and mysql with an apache webserver - take a look at this guide:
