hi..

i had a perl5 rpm installed
recently installed tarball version too..
i think when i installed it, it changed @INC somehow..
my rpm perl5 is under /usr/lib/perl5
but @INC doesn't contain that directory..
can i fix this?

hi

if u install tar.gz perl5 on your system,
and see the same error..

put this in your .bash_profile


PERL5LIB=/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1:/usr/lib/perl5/:/usr/lib/perl5/5.6.1:/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl:/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1:/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/i386-linux:/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/Curses

export PERL5LIB

-------------------------
then
PERL5LIB is included in @INC path

hey, just wanted to say thank you for posting the answer to the problem. despite the fact that you apparantly solved it yourself, putting the answer up here will provide everyone else in this forum with future assistance.
