I recently bought myself a PNY 8gb memory stick so I can try installing and running PenDriveLinux 2008. Here's a link to a picture of the drive I have.

I copied and installed AllInOne PenDriveLinux 2008, with the QEmu emulator built in, and followed the instructions to copy the contents of the .zip file and run makeboot.bat. However when I try and boot from the USB stick, it only shows a black screen with "Boot Error" at the top then the system simply boots from the next device. QEmu, however, works fine. Is there any chance someone could tell me what I'm doing wrong because I'd quite like to be able to boot into the stick. I tried running it on a home-built PC running Windows Vista, with an Intel Dual-core processor and Intel Media Series DG33TL Motherboard, and a Dell Inspiron 1300 laptop running Windows XP - both with the same result. I know that both of the computers support Boot from USB, but I have no idea how to make it actually boot. Has anyone else had the same problem and if so how have they got round it?
All help appreciated.
