Password don't works in graphical start login but works in console

I am working on a Ubuntu 14.04. I installed it 3 months ago and never had this problem. Yesterday evening before shutting off the computer i let the update manager update softwares on it (don't know if related but this is really the only major event i can remember on it yesterday).

When i boot my computer i reach the graphical login interface, i select the user and type my password. Since this morning when i type my password and then press enter or click the Arrow, the screen goes black briefly and then goes back to the login interface.

I opened the console with Ctrl+Alt+F1 and there the login/password are working.

I tried a "df -h" to see how much free space i had and noticed that i had less than 3% free so by using the console i cleaned a little my personnal folders to now have 25% free because i thought maybe the updates took to much space for the system to be stable. This changed nothing.

Then i checked with "/bin/ls -l ~/.*authority" and got :

Code:
/bin/ls: cannot acces ls: No such file or directory
-rw------- 1 spi spi 20794 mai 21 09:05 /home/spi/.ICEauthority
-rw------- 1 spi spi 87 mai 21 09:05 /home/spi/.Xauthority

So from my knowledge my ownerships and permissions look fine.

After that i don't really know what to check or do to solve this problem.

After trying "startx" i can reach the desktop of the session in am logged in from the console.
The launcher and the main menu bar are not here. If i try to enter a hard drive or put an usb drive on the computer i need to enter the password and it is accepted.
"Alt+tab" don't seems to work too so if i diminish a software i can't "find" it again because "Alt+tab" and the launcher don't work.

In the file "/var/log/Xorg.0.log" there is not line with (EE) for errors.

The mouse work with no problem, right clicking too.
Alt-F2 don't work.

I made a backup of my file and installed ubuntu again to fix this.
After discussing at my work it seems to have happened to other people last week and they had no solution to this.
