OpenOffice.org and PDF

When I'm typing something on openoffice.org and then i want to turn it into a PDF file, it does but only phrases here and there are included in the PDF file. Is there a way to include my whole document?

You don't say what version you are using but in 1.1.2 there is an icon that says PDF in color and that is the "Export Directly as PDF" button which when I click it asks me where to put the document. I just checked and mine worked on a small test case.

If this is what you are already doing--- you could try to print as PDF too that has worked for me.
