Question Nonlinear video editing in Linux: possible?

I have been using Linux almost a year now, and I've found it great for just about everything. However, the one thing I still boot into Windows for is video editing (ok there's also Half Life . I have Premiere 6 and so far have not been able to find anything at all comparable to this for Linux. Someone once recommended a package called Broadcast 2000 to me, but I found that the publisher had removed the files from their site because of liability fears (? I didn't get it exactly). So does anyone do this on Linux, or should I wait a while for the field to develop more?
