Hi
I installed RH linux 7.2. There is no sound from the speakers. I tried playing a midi file. It plays, but no sound.
I dont know to rectify the problem.
Help !
Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
I remember this happened to me, and the volume was at '0' by default. You should look for a mixer utility and turn up the volume, and see what happens.
Try 'aumix'.
Are you sure it is happening with any kind of audio file or only with mp3's ?
