Hi everyone!
I use SuSE 9.0 and have a GeForce4 Ti 4800SE graphics adapter. I recently managed to get my TV-out working properly, even in colour
. There is just one problem I haven't been able to fix until now: There is always a black border about 1-2 cm thick around the picture, which wastes quite some space. My TV is pretty old, but in Win2000 I got rid of the borders by using TVTool (using the nvidia controls which come with the driver led to the same problem as I have now).
Using the overscan option doesn't change anything and my XFree86.0.log shows me this output:
(WW) NVIDIA(0): TV-0 is not capable of overscan.
Of course I prefer to believe I just haven't found the solution yet. Is there any other way or did I miss something?
Here's the device section in my XF86Config:
