Question Newbie Linux


Which Linux would be recommended for a GREEN newbie to linux and it's language.

To choose a distro - take this and see what it gives you:

This isn't an exhaustive list of distros, but it is fairly inclusive.
If you don't like the one they give you, look around on http://www.distrowatch.com

I would choose Ubuntu as it is easier then Windows to use.

Fedora Core, Mandriva, Suse, and Ubuntu are all considered good for new Linux users, and there's plenty more to choose from. Just take a look at http://www.distrowatch.com

I tryed Suse 10.1 and Ubuntu. But Have found Xandros and love it. Thanks for the ideas...
