Hello, how should I change the /etc/network/interfaces file to get my lan adapter into DHCP mode? Because I have got there now just static adress and I really need to have DHCP right now.
And the other thing-how should I correctly set up SAMBA so I can access my files from somewhere else? Everytime I tried so set it up everybody or nobody had access to the files, so I wasn,t very succesfull. Thanks
My interfaces file looked like this before:
# /etc/network/interfaces -- configuration file for ifup(8), ifdown(8)
# The loopback interface
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
# The first network card - this entry was created during the Debian installation
# (network, broadcast and gateway are optional)
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 192.168.0.2
netmask 255.255.255.0
network 192.168.0.0
broadcast 192.168.0.255
gateway 192.168.0.1
I tried to implement ther the USE_DHCP=yes, but I wasn't succesfull. How should it be to get the dhcp working correctly? Thanks
