MySQL size limit


what is the maximum size a MySQL database can be?

As far as I know there isn't a limit imposed by mysql on the size of a database, although different table types have different limits e.g looking at the spec. Each Innodb table type has a theoretical limit of 256 terabytes which should be enough for most house-hold needs
