ok.....i''m interested in learning more about different linux distros and just experimenting with all out there.....i have loaded fedora core 2 already and played around with it.....now, i would like to turn this system into a true linux box......several installed distros multibooting so that i can compare between them.......what is a good start for partitioning, and how can i add another installation down the road......i have an 80gb hard drive in a system that is completely 100% dedicated to this little project of mine......no windows will be on this system.......thnx for all the hlep......btw......main distros of interest as of now are........fedora, suse, mandrake, debian, gentoo, and maybe slackware.............thnx in advance

What I recommend is making a 30 gb partition for your install that you actually use to do work, etc. Then make 5 "testing" partitions for trying out different distros. When you choose one you like, back up your home directory on your main partition and install your favorite distro there.
